Mr Bachchan Sang for the Nation

Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice to the cricket world cup in the song called 'Ek Alag Andaaz Hai… Khel Jiska Naam hai…. Paas Hona Fail Hona… Zindagi Mein Aam Hai… '

Bachchan's lines go thus, "Hum To Hindustani Hain- Hamay Apna Fun Maloom Hai – Jis Taraf Se Guzrenge Wahin Raasta Ban Jaayega"

Bachchan has led the pack of celebrities who have pitched in with their bit in a song for the cricket world cup and it doesn't only talk about India's campaign. With the music conceived and composed by Shamir Tandon (Page 3, Corporate, Traffic Signal) for Mauj, P9, Zee News and Big FM.... this song, which will be promoted across various platforms, backs the spirit of the sport.

Shamir, who successfully composed the music of Asha and Friends and Tanhai – Lonely Hearts for Mauj recently, says that the song with the hookline – Come on, come on, let's play the game… Come on come on, let's do it again… is bound to catch the fancy of the youth. "The song is a musical celebration or rather a dedication from the music industry to the Indian cricket team for the world cup. Musically, we wish them all the best from an array of 15 choicest voices of today," says Tandon.

Actor Jackie Shroff has also mouthed a couplet in the song which has voices like Roop Kumar Rathod, Babul Supriyo, Zubeen Garg, Kailash Kher, Jojo, Vasundhara, Pratichi, Shweta Shetty, apart from Sharib, Banjyotsna, Twinkle, Sanchali, Pawni, Arpita, Sameer, Madhurima, Raaj, Xenia, Debojit and Aishwarya.

Anupam Mittal, Managing Director People's Group controlling Mauj, Shaadi.com and Fropper.com, feels that the song will rock the music circuit as well. "It's not just about cricket. It holds good everywhere in life. We have made a happy song and even though we fancy India's chances at the Cup, we are praising the sport," says Mittal about the song written by Shabbir Ahmed.

It is to be noted that Amitabh Bachchan admire our favorite Dada by saying that "He(Amitabh) himself likes person who bounce back from calamities and wish team india for winning world cup."

So we can say "Hoo Haa India, Aaya India........"
