Pray For Me Brother - A R Rehman
Composed by A.R.Rahman
Lyrics by Blaaze
Singers: A.R.Rahman and Blaaze
Pray for me brother
Pray for me brother
Pray for me sister
Are you searchin’….
Pray for me brother
Lookin’ for the answers To all the questions In my life
Will I be alone Will you be there By my side
Is it something he said Is it something he did
I wonder why He is searchin’ For the answers
To stay alive
Could you ever listen Could you ever care
To speak your mind
Only for a minute For only one moment
In time
The joy is around us But show me the love
That we must find
Are you searchin’ For a reason to be kind, to be kind…
He said… Pray for me brother
Pray for me brother Pray for me sister
Pray for me brother Say
what you wanna say now
But keep your hearts open
Be what you wanna be now
Let’s heal the confusion
Pray for me brother
Don’t let me take When you don’t wanna give
Don’t be afraid Just let me live
Don’t let me take When you don’t wanna give
Don’t be afraid Say what you wanna say now
But keep your hearts open
Be what you wanna be now Let’s heal the confusion
Pray for me brother Pray for me brother
I’m ashamed ah, brother be dying of poverty
when he down on his knees its only then he prays
And it’s a shame ah, brother be dying of ignorance
cos the world is a trip and everybody’s a hypocrite
Need to stop ah , taking a look at the other
I’m not ashamed of poverty
need to be making his life better
So think about it, think about it once more
cos life is a blessing and it’s not justa show, ah
Round and round the world is spinning around
We need to be singing a prayer, we need to be singing it now
Round and round the world is turning around
We need to be singing a prayer, we need to be singing it now
Need to be feeling the power, need to be feeling the faith
We need to coming together just to win this race
Need to be feeling the power, need to be feeling the faith
We need to coming together just to win this race (twice)

Mr Bachchan Sang for the Nation
Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice to the cricket world cup in the song called 'Ek Alag Andaaz Hai… Khel Jiska Naam hai…. Paas Hona Fail Hona… Zindagi Mein Aam Hai… '
Bachchan's lines go thus, "Hum To Hindustani Hain- Hamay Apna Fun Maloom Hai – Jis Taraf Se Guzrenge Wahin Raasta Ban Jaayega"
Bachchan has led the pack of celebrities who have pitched in with their bit in a song for the cricket world cup and it doesn't only talk about India's campaign. With the music conceived and composed by Shamir Tandon (Page 3, Corporate, Traffic Signal) for Mauj, P9, Zee News and Big FM.... this song, which will be promoted across various platforms, backs the spirit of the sport.
Shamir, who successfully composed the music of Asha and Friends and Tanhai – Lonely Hearts for Mauj recently, says that the song with the hookline – Come on, come on, let's play the game… Come on come on, let's do it again… is bound to catch the fancy of the youth. "The song is a musical celebration or rather a dedication from the music industry to the Indian cricket team for the world cup. Musically, we wish them all the best from an array of 15 choicest voices of today," says Tandon.
Actor Jackie Shroff has also mouthed a couplet in the song which has voices like Roop Kumar Rathod, Babul Supriyo, Zubeen Garg, Kailash Kher, Jojo, Vasundhara, Pratichi, Shweta Shetty, apart from Sharib, Banjyotsna, Twinkle, Sanchali, Pawni, Arpita, Sameer, Madhurima, Raaj, Xenia, Debojit and Aishwarya.
Anupam Mittal, Managing Director People's Group controlling Mauj, Shaadi.com and Fropper.com, feels that the song will rock the music circuit as well. "It's not just about cricket. It holds good everywhere in life. We have made a happy song and even though we fancy India's chances at the Cup, we are praising the sport," says Mittal about the song written by Shabbir Ahmed.

It is to be noted that Amitabh Bachchan admire our favorite Dada by saying that "He(Amitabh) himself likes person who bounce back from calamities and wish team india for winning world cup."
So we can say "Hoo Haa India, Aaya India........"

Nishabdh : Reviews from various hollywood celebs
All are eager to know public reviews and more eager to know about what all bollywood celebs saying on the much awaited movie of Bachchan Senior.
For a special directors' preview of 'Nishabd' last week, Abhishek was moved to tears.
Says Amitabh: 'That was a manifestation of a larger socio-cultural philosophy. In our society a woman is uprooted from her paternal home after marriage and put through this whole process of re-acclimatisation in what's known as a 'paraya ghar'. A lot of us don't understand how painful this uprooting process is for a woman. That evening Jaya was acknowledging that whole process.'
Regarding Abhishek's views on Nishabdh Amitabh says that He "feels my performance in 'Nishabd' is better than in 'Black'. Abhishek made an interesting observation. He said I had huge props in 'Black'. In 'Nishabd', I performed without props. Again, Abhishek is a hard customer to please.' ".
Director Ravi chopra was deeply moved.
People are surprised. They came expecting something else.
Now here is an abstract from IBNLive's Masand's Verdict
"ewcomer Jiah Khan plays an 18-year-old temptress who initiates and entices her classmate's 60-year-old father into a complex, inexplicable relationship while she’s staying with the family at their hill-station home one summer.
Amitabh Bachchan plays the man in question, who finds himself falling for this brash, spoilt teenager who's showering him with the kind of attention he hasn't experienced before.
Despite working off a script that borrows generously from the Drew Barrymore thriller Poison Ivy, Ram Gopal Varma makes it very clear he's back in form as he sinks his teeth into what is perhaps his first all-out emotional, character drama. Varma casts a mood of gloominess, a sense of impending doom all over this film, which is reminiscent of the manner in which he'd treated Bhoot.
What I like about Nishabd is Varma's conscious attempt to avoid clichés and stereotypes. The affair takes place not sneakily and surreptitiously, but right under the nose of Bachchan's wife and daughter who are just too naïve to read all the signs. When the affair is finally discovered, there's none of that typical filmi-style screaming and shouting, instead Varma treats the moment realistically using shock and silence to convey the sense of feeling betrayed.
Admirably, the director's decided not to spoon-feed his audience by explaining every character's every motivation. While it's more or less clear why Jiah falls for Bachchan, you are yourself expected to interpret his reason for responding to her affections.
It could be the thrill of physical intimacy to a nubile, young girl. It could stem from a sense of responsibility he feels towards her. It could be a momentary lapse of judgement on his part, or then the result of suppressed apathy he feels towards his frumpy wife. I suspect it's everything put together.
Because much of Nishabd is shot in real time - the entire second half to be specific - it does seem too long and too stretched out, especially since there isn't very much happening. But don't be fooled, that's exactly the mood Varma's going for. Remember, Nishabd is essentially about loneliness, and this leisurely pace that Varma creates for the film only contributes to that feeling of loneliness.
I suspect most people, women particularly are going to have a problem with the film's ending. As much as I'd like to elaborate, I won't because saying any more here will give away too much. I must confess I had a problem with the film's ending myself, but for another reason completely - I feel it's a cop-out. "

Who is Hassan Ali Khan?
Nowadays Those people who used to have a glimpse on newspaper daily then they have might have read that A Man who owns property of over 35,000 crore got shocked on reading in the paper. But it was simply shocking rumour and wild guess from media which should not happen because next day it comes into news that it was not 35,000 crore but it was 3,000 crore.
He is fond of horses. He deals in horses. He owns lotsa property in pune. Pune-resident Hassan Ali Khan, 53, has been fleetingly seen on racing tracks. Horse trading circles describe him as a smart punter but a small time horse owner.
If officers in investigating agencies are to be believed, this stud farm owner could be the latest Indian billionaire on the block — possibly, as rich as DLF boss K P Singh, or richer still. His wealth is said to be in the region of anything between Rs 35,000 and Rs 20,000 crore and most of it — and this is the catch — unaccounted.
Here's introducing 53-year-old Hassan Ali Khan, owner of some pedigreed horses who also trades in thoroughbreds. He owns two Mercs, has property in Mumbai and Pune, friends among the rich and famous, and shuttles between the two cities in his limo in the racing season.
For three weeks in January-February, Khan was in a multi-speciality private hospital in Pune with cardiac and liver problems. This was almost immediately after he was raided by a joint team of income-tax and enforcement directorate sleuths on his properties in different cities. Since his release from the hospital, Khan has not been spotted.
This was the time the buzz about Khan and his alleged wealth grew. Until then, he had attracted attention on the Pune racing turf where he surfaced about five years ago as a small-time punter who suddenly became one of the biggest players. His contacts, by default, were with some of the top industrialists who have an interest in horse-trading.
On Thursday, sources in I-T department told TOI that an investigation into fund transfers through illegal channels in and out of India for stock market investment led the sleuths to some Swiss bank accounts.
